Proclaimed offender held

CIA Anti-Organized Crime Cell has arrested a suspected proclaimed offender allegedly involved in fraud of millions of rupees. The arrested suspect has been identified as Abdul Rahim. Sources said the suspect would entice the citizens on pretext of making business deals and then would flee with the cash given to him for the purpose. Reportedly, he also handed over bogus cheques to them. CIA spokesperson said multiple cheque dishonor cases had been registered against him in Old Anarkali, Ichra, Baghbanpura, New Anarkali and Islampura areas.
