LAHROE:

Two persons were killed by firing while three others sustained injuries after a scuffle broke out between two youth in Faisalabad on Wednesday.

As per details, the incident took place after the fathers of 22-year-old Shahroze and 20-year-old Rizwan interfered in the two youth’s fight.

Police officials said that Siddique and Abdul Shakur, the fathers of the youth, interfered in a quarrel between their sons who were playing in the ground located in Chak No 123GB.

In a fit of rage, Siddique along with his accomplices Arif, Shahbaz, Shahrooz, Mani and Naseeb indiscriminately opened fire outside Abdul Shakur’s house.

As a result of the incident, Rizwan and an 18-year-old passerby identified as Tahir Sattar, son of Abdul Sattar, were killed on the spot while Abdul Shakur’s other relatives including Shahzad, 24-yearold Jahanzeb and 14-year-old Bilal Amin sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted to Jaranwala THQ Hospital after being provided medical assistance where their condition is said to be out of danger.

The firing spread fear and panic in the village. Police took the bodies into custody and later handed them over to their heirs after postmortem. A case was registered against the accused named in the complaint by Abdul Shakur. Saddar Jaranwala SHO Riazuddin said that both the victims Rizwan and Tahir were shot in the chest before they succumbed to their injuries.
