RAWALPINDI:

To develop tourism in the region, a new six-kilometre (km) road from Bostanabad to Panjpir is being built among four road projects to help develop tourism in the Kotli Sattiyan area.

This was stated by Rawalpindi Chief Commissioner Muhammad Mehmood on Tuesday while chairing a meeting to review development projects in Murree and Kotli Sattiyan.

Apart from that road, Mehmood said that they are working on constructing another four roads linking Murree and Kotli Sattiyan with different areas.

A 20km road from Milad Chowk to Gulehri Gali was also being repaired as part of the new development schemes.

Mehmood said that the other two roads include a 5.45 km road from Lower Topa to Patariata Bypass and 8km road from Sawar to Panjpir Rest House.
