Citizens beat ‘robber’

Citizens caught and brutally beat an alleged robber in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Monday night, before handing him over to police. Reportedly, the suspect shot once when a citizen resisted his attempt to loot him, and when no one was injured he tried to shot again. The bullet, however, got stuck in the barrel. Observing this, citizens caught and beat him black and blue, until he started bleeding. Later, police reached the spot and detained the suspect. They said a pistol and motorcycle were seized from his possession.
