CJCSC confers awards on scientists, engineers from strategic organisations

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza on behalf of President Arif Alvi conferred on Tuesday civil awards to eminent scientists and engineers from strategic organisations for their meritorious services.
An investiture ceremony was held at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
General Nadeem, speaking on the occasion, lauded the services of scientists and engineers, saying, “You are our heroes, the unseen, we owe you our gratitude”.
Three female scientists among 23 outstanding individuals were honoured with the awards at the ceremony.
