ISLAMABAD:

Centre Board of Revenue Housing Society (CBRHS) President Altaf Bhat has said that the housing society has now become a “brand” in the housing sector. A 100 bed, modern hospital is ample proof of the success of society where more than 700 patients are treated daily with nominal charges while the poor are provided with a free medical checkup. He said this while addressing a gathering of the local business community and property dealers of CBRHS. Following the success of CBRHS Phase-I, Bhat said they are working to provide similar facilities to members of CBRHS Phase-II as well. Near Rs4 billion were deposited by members of CBRHS Phase-II in which Rs1.5 billion have been spent for the development of phase-I and phase-II while Rs2.5 billion were used to purchase land. Without the development work, it has a market value of Rs15 billion. “The land is available for society members while some areas of this land have not been properly developed and it has also been decided that the new members will be given plots at the best locations,” Bhat said.
