Vehicle snatching attempt foiled

A Dolphin Squad team thwarted a vehicle snatching bid from Defence Road on Saturday. As per details, two suspected robbers had snatched a vehicle on gunpoint from Hassan on Defence Road. The victim had informed police on helpline 15. A Dolphin Squad team responded to the call and rushed to the spot on information. The police team managed to arrest the suspected robbers and intercepted them on Ghazi Road. Police also recovered the vehicle and illegal weapons. The arrested suspects had been identified as Zia and Bilal. The accused were handed over to Factory Area police for further interrogation.
