PESHAWAR:

The Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in Peshawar on Friday resumed its dialysis services after a month-long closure. The service had been closed to service machines apart from concerns of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

During the suspension, patients were redirected to the Khyber Teaching Hospital in the city. According to a notification issued by the hospital on Friday, services will be provided to over 50 patients daily.

The notice, however, clarified that despite the suspension of dialysis services, patients admitted to the emergency ward and intensive care units were provided with the service there. Our correspondent
