At least 2,014 police officers and officials submitted application at the Rawalpindi Police Welfare Centre for resolution of their departmental issues.
The centre deals with issues like clearance of bills incurred during investigation of cases, traveling and dining allowances, leave applications, and release of compensation packages.
The facility, set up on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Ahsan Younas, is meant to resolve the problems policemen face with regard to their department in given time so that they continue to perform duties with concentration and peace of mind.
