Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston team up onscreen for virtual fundraiser
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston fans finally have some crumbs to feed on as the former couple teamed up for Dane Cook's Feelin’ A-Live, a virtual live table read virtual table read of the 1982 cult-classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High on Thursday, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Pitt and Aniston were not the only ones to get together for the star-studded online event, which also included actors Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Shia LaBeouf, Matthew McConaughey, Sean Penn, and Julia Roberts among others. The reading was set up as an unrehearsed version of the iconic film, with the stars unaware of the roles they would be handed.
Ultimately, Aniston played Linda and Pitt got to play his namesake, Brad. Thanks to this, the two got to share an especially exciting, romantic moment together as well that left fans reeling in excitement on Twitter.
Feelin’ A-Live, an hour-long event was organised as a fundraiser for Penn's humanitarian organisation, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), and Reform Alliance in the fight against Covid-19, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. Viewers could donate through the 'donate' button on-screen during the stream and also have the option to donate by texting CORE to 707070.
The virtual event also marked the former flames' reunion after they brushed shoulders at the SAG Awards earlier this year, sending the internet into a meltdown. It was the first time the two were seen together since their split in 2005.
