Project to provide alternative choice for recreational activities

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Thursday inspected the progress on the ongoing development project launched for the beautification of the Airport Road. Accompanying the Chief Minister on this occasion was the Commissioner of the Quetta Division. He briefed the Chief Minister about the work underway and said that upto 80% of the work on the project had been completed. The new project along with the installation of seating for people also includes fencing, lightening, tuff tiling and shades above the seats. While inspecting the work, the Chief Minister gave directions for further improvements. He instructed the Commissioner to set up food stalls in collaboration with the private sector and also gave directions for the installation of light towers along the road. He said that at completion, the project would not only enhance the beauty of Airport Road but would also give people an alternative choice for recreational activities.
