Man dies of food poisoning

A day after his two minor sons died of food poisoning, a peasant, Photto Khaskheli also succumbed while receiving treatment at Liaquat University Hospital in Hyderabad on Thursday. Khaskheli’s two sons, 16-year-old Ayaz and 8-year-old Nisar, died on Wednesday while his wife and a daughter are recovering in the hospital. According to SHO Manzoor Jamali of the Tandojam police station, the family is believed to have consumed a lizard in their meal on Tuesday night. A medico-legal officer performed an autopsy on Khaskheli’s body before handing it over to the family for burial rites.
