Body found in fields

LAHORE:

A youth was found dead in fields in Harabanspura area on Thursday. Police said the 25-year-old victim was identified as Adnan Sabir, a resident of Qalandarpura. A passer-by spotted the body lying in the fields in the village of Qalandarpura and had informed the police. A police team reached the location and transferred the body to the morgue for autopsy. They also recorded witness accounts and collected forensic evidence from the scene. Police suspect that the victim had died of drug overdose. However, they said that the autopsy report would help ascertain the facts.
