New cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) continue to appear in the federal capital despite an increase in the number of people recovering from the disease. On Wednesday, 21 more cases were reported from various areas of the city. The infection was detected in 13 males and 8 females. The tally of pandemic virus-infected patients since the break out has reached to 15,962 in Islamabad since the breakout. However, as of now, the active cases in the federal capital are 330. Meanwhile, among the cases reported in the last week and until yet, some 18 people have recovered completely. Islamabad District Health Office (DHO) said that after lifting lockdown restrictions, the single-day cases remained highest on September 14 when some 40 cases surfaced from different areas of the federal capital.
