Man held for allegedly raping minor

Police claimed to have arrested the rapist of a minor girl in the provincial capital on Wednesday. The arrested suspect had been identified as Saif Maseeh. Three days ago, the accused had sexually assaulted the eight-year-old girl in Shafiqabad. A case was registered against him on the complainant of the victim’s family. Police managed to arrest him after booking the case. Reportedly, the alleged rapist is related to the victim. Police officials said that they were investigating the matter further.
