Police arrest man for ‘prank call’

A case has been registered against him and further investigation is underway

The police arrested on Wednesday a man on charges of making a prank call to the Madadgar-15 helpline. According to police, Darya Khan called the helpline and said intense firing was taking place in Usman Goth. However, they added, when the police reached the spot, they found that no such incident had taken place. The police tracked down Khan through his mobile phone number and arrested him. A case has been registered against him and further investigation is underway.
