Reshuffle in police dept announced

The Sindh Police issued on Wednesday a notification pertaining to the transfers of police officials. According to the notification, Counter-Terrorism Department DIG Abdullah Shaikh had been transferred to the post of Driving Licence Branch DIG, while Omar Shahid had been appointed as the CTD DIG and Qamaruz Zaman as Special Branch DIG. The notification further stated that SI Waqar Qaiser had been appointed as Samanabad SHO, SI Khalid Rafiq as Soldier Bazaar SHO and SI Safdar Brohi as New Town SHO after the removal of the former SHOs of the said police stations.
