Polytechnic, vocational centres to be built in Peshawar

PESHAWAR:

The provincial government on Monday approved a project to build a polytechnic institute and a technical and vocational centre in the province.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan approved the establishment of the two educational institutions in Peshawar.

Approval for the projects was granted by Mahmood as he chaired a meeting developmental schemes of the K-P Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA).

The CM was informed that the estimated cost of the projects was around Rs1 billion. The project in Adezai will have separate facilities for technical and vocational education to maintain male and female segregation.
