Two shot and injured in robbery bids

Two men were shot and injured in separate firing incidents in the city on Sunday night. Robbers shot a man for offering resistance during a looting bid near Chamra Chowrangi, Korangi Industrial Area. The injured, identified as Asif, 30, was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment. In the meantime, another man was shot and injured during a robbery bid near Sheerazi Chowk in Machhar Colony. The injured, identified as Usman, 20, was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for treatment. The police have launched investigations into both incidents.
