Technical fault: KESC fixes Bin Qasim power plant

The Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) has fixed the technical fault in two units at the Bin Qasim town power plant, said KESC spokesperson Ahmed Faraz on Sunday. The plant usually generates around 80 megawatts of electricity on a daily basis. He added that load shedding had been reduced to four and a half hours in some areas. “In order to facilitate our customers no load shedding will take place from 6 pm to 8:30 pm and from 1:30am to 8 am,” he said.
