Six-year-old implicated in attack case
The much publicized reforms and change in thana culture claimed by Pakistan Tehreek Insaf government in “Naya Pakistan” proved mere eye wash as a six years old minor girl was allegedly implicated in attacking and torture case.
The case came under spotlight when Ghulam Sarwar father of six years old girl Komal moved the local court for the pre-arrest bail of her daughter. Mohammad Naseem a resident of Mohallah Masjid Bilal while lodging his first investigation report (FIR) with city police station has alleged that Ghulam Sarwar along with his wife and two daughters forcefully entered in to his house after children quarrel over some issue and during quarrel they have beat his son with cricket bat and injured him.

He added that due to attack, his son received injuries on his hand. On his compliant, assistant sub inspector Wajid Ali of city police station has registered a case against Ghulam Sarwar, his wife and two daughters under section 337-F, 452, 147 and 149 Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
In gross negligence and professional incompetency, the said official even not bothered to investigate and inquire about the age of the “nominated accused” by booking them in such rigorous sections of PPC. When the issue of lack of professionalism and negligence came in to the notice of higher police officials, they immediately remove the name of the nominated six years old girl in challan.
When contacted, spokesman of district Police Sub Inspector Tahir Iqbal has confirmed that the girl was booked in first investigation report (FIR) on the written application of the complainant. He said that at the time of lodging FIR, the complainant has not mentioned the age and it was not immediately noted by the investigation officer.
He added that when the minor implication in the case was came in to the notice of the investigation officer; he subsequently removed the name of the minor girl from the case. DNA
