Senate election to be held today

Elections for the vacant Senate seat of National Party’s central leader Mir Hasil Bizenjo who passed away last month will be held today. The polling will be held in Balochistan Assembly Hall. Contesting candidates include Khalid Bizenjo, Ghousullah, Dr Munir and Muhammad Ali Hazara. According to sources, polling will begin at 9am and continue till 5pm. The final list of four candidates for the Senate was released by the election commission earlier. Mir Khalid Bizenjo from Balochistan Awami Party, Mir Ghousullah from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Dr Munir Baloch from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Muhammad Ali Hazara from Balochistan National Party are the respective candidates for the seat.
