LAHORE:
At least 18 people were killed and 1,029 injured in 913 road accidents across Punjab during the last 24 hours. Out of the total injured victims, 643 suffered severe injuries and were shifted to the nearby healthcare facility by rescue teams. The rest of the victims were provided first aid on the spot. Statistics reveal that 211 accidents were reported in the provincial capital followed by Faisalabad and Gujranwala with 71 and 53 road crashes respectively.
