Three bodies found in separate parts of metropolis

The bodies of three people were found from different parts of the city on Thursday.

The body of a teenager was found near New Sabzi Mandi and was shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The deceased was identified as Qadir, 19. Rescue officials stated there were no torture marks or bullet wounds on the body.

While the police expressed the belief he had died of natural causes, further investigation is underway.

Moreover, the body of another man was found behind the Gulshan-e-Maymar police station and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

According to the police, his family identified him as 63-year-old Ijaz Ali Khan. Meanwhile, another body was found near the fisheries chairperson’s office.

It was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, where the deceased was identified as Syed Ali Shah, 35, a fisheries employee.

The bodies were handed over to the respective families after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
