Woman booked for hoax call

Police claimed to have arrested a woman for making a prank call on Police Emergency Helpline 15 regarding her son’s abduction. Police officials said on Wednesday that Sadia bibi of Kacha Mahara area made a fake call and claimed that her son had been kidnapped by her opponents. They added that the accused wanted to take revenge from the rival party who reportedly had got a case registered against the accused’s husband over abduction of a woman. She was booked for misleading the police by making a hoax call, the officials stated.
