Depts urged to follow dengue SOPs
Awareness among the people regarding dengue was the only solution
SARGODHA:
Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyer Sheikh directed all public and private sectors departments to follow the government-mandated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the fight against dengue.
He issued the direction while chairing a review meeting of dengue measures in his office on Wednesday.
The DC further said that dengue was a fatal disease and all stakeholders should join hands for the elimination of dengue larvae to save human lives.
The health department teams and other departments concerned were making efforts to eliminate dengue virus, he elaborated. “Awareness among the people regarding dengue was the only solution to ward off any untoward situation.”
