Court extends accused’s bails

A local court extended on Tuesday the bails of the accused in a female doctor’s suicide case. During the hearing, the investigation officer (IO) failed to appear before South additional district and sessions judge at Karachi City Court. Giving an explanation for the IO’s absence, the government’s lawyer told the court he was in Mirpurkhas for the exhumation of the doctor’s body. Extending the bails of the two men accused in the case, Junaid and Waqas, the court adjourned the hearing till tomorrow (Thursday).
