Body of woman found

The body of a woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a house in Surjani Town on Monday. The woman had allegedly died of suicide. According to the police, her husband, a factory worker, found the body when he got home in the afternoon. Instead of calling the police, he called her parents, who arrived and took the body to their residence. However, the police arrived there after being informed and took the body in their custody before sending it for a post-mortem. The deceased’s husband told the police there was no reason for his wife to kill herself. The police said the cause of death would be ascertained after the postmortem report was completed.
