ADCR cancels mutation of land

ADCR ordered the officers concerned to retrieve the state land from the land grabbers

KASUR:

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Abid Hussain Bhatti cancelled the mutation of 45 kanals of state land worth millions of rupees and ordered its retrieval from land grabbers who had occupied it through fake documents. Official sources said on Sunday that Rehmat, Akhtar and other residents of village Baggri had occupied state land in the area and transferred it to their names through fake documents. On the complaint of villagers, a committee headed by a former deputy commissioner was constituted which held the men responsible for transferring the state land to their names through fake documents. After completing the legal procedure, the ADCR cancelled the mutation and ordered the officers concerned to retrieve the state land from the land grabbers.
