Push for complete reopening schools

ISLAMABAD:

Owners of the private educational institutions took out a car rally on Saturday, demanding the government to open schools completely and not phase-wise.

The representatives of different organsiations including the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS), Private Education Society (PES), and Private Schools Management Association (PSMA) took out the car rally from F-9 Park to D-Chowk.

The participants had pasted posters on their vehicles and held banners inscribed with the demands. A large number of parents and students also participated in the protest.

Addressing the participants, Chaudhry Abdullah, who was leading the rally, said that the closure of schools had disrupted the education of children. He added that excessive leisure time for students has drifted them from educational activities mentally.

The leader demanded the reopening of schools for all classes from September 15.
