Singh govt issues notification for Keamari

The Sindh government issued on Saturday a notification for the creation of Keamari district in Karachi – the port city’s seventh district. The notification, issued by the Sindh Revenue Board, states that the new district was carved out of West district. Keamari district will comprise SITE, Baldia, Keamari and Mauripur sub-divisions, while West district will now encompass Manghopir, Orangi and Mominabad sub-divisions.
