ISPR has released a new track to pay respect to the martyrs of September 6, 1965, on account of Pakistan's Defence Day.
The day is annually celebrated in Pakistan to commemorate the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers in defending its borders. It recalls the time Indian troops crossed the international border to launch an attack on Punjab which was repulsed by the Pakistani Army despite its smaller size and fewer armaments, according to the national narrative.
The song titled Har Ghari Tayyar Kamran, is a remake of an old patriotic song of the 80’s by Khalid Waheed, Niaz Ahmed and Zafar Ullah Poshni. The latest remake features Ali Hamza (of Noori), Ali Azmat, Ali Noor and Asim Azhar on the vocals with the music directed by Hamza and additional lyrics by Ali Hayat Rizvi.
Sharing the video on Twitter, the DG ISPR wrote, "A tribute to our martyrs, our heroes, on the eve of Defence and Martyrs Day."

Directed by Adnan Kandhar, the music video attempts to showcase the sacrifices made by the forces amid Pakistan's fight with terrorism. It also hints at the evolution of our armed forces with its latest cutting edge military structure.
According to it's YouTube description, the renowned music maestro, Hamza, has "put his heart and soul into the song, giving it a contemporary spin."
