Six more die of Covid-19

Covid-19 patients recuperated overnight, taking the total number of recovered patients to 123,605

As many as six more coronavirus-related deaths were reported in Sindh on Wednesday, raising the province’s death toll to 2,415, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued on the day. The CM further said that 212 more people had tested positive for Covid-19, following which the cumulative infection tally in the province rose to 129,827. Besides, he added, 221 Covid-19 patients recuperated overnight, taking the total number of recovered patients to 123,605. He said that 3,807 Covid-19 patients were under treatment in Sindh, including 3,492 in home isolation, six in isolation centres and 309 in hospitals. Among them, 155 are critically ill, with 15 on ventilators, he added.
