Unidentified attackers gun down man
A man was killed in an armed attack by two unidentified men in Korangi, in the limits of the Zaman Town police station, on Wednesday. According to Zaman Town SHO Farooq Sanjrani, Munif, 30, was standing by his motorcycle 6 when two armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on him and fled. As a result, Munif died on the spot, the SHO said. He added that police had found two bullet shells from a 30-bore pistol at the crime scene. He stated that Munif’s family members had denied that the deceased had personal enmity or monetary disputes with anyone. Further investigation of the matter is underway, he said. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
