Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar will visit Karachi with members of the business community and charity organisations.

With the collaboration of the ‘’Friends of Pakistan’’, a special package will be given to 10,000 deserving families for the repair of houses damaged by floods and torrential rains in Karachi.

The governor made the announcement while addressing a press conference on Monday along with Friends of Pakistan Chairman Gohar Ejaz and Akhuwat Foundation Chairman Amjad Saqib. The Punjab governor said that with the collaboration of charity organisations, financial assistance and ration would be provided to distressed families of Sindh.

He highlighted that following the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he will visit Karachi, Badin and other districts that have been affected by floods along with representatives from the Friends of Pakistan and other charity organisations to help needy families. Responding to a question, he said he will also meet the governor and chief minister of Sindh.
