Three illegal gas decanters arrested

As many as three people, who were running illegal gas re-filling centres, were apprehended on Friday, police said. A spokesperson said that during raids in different areas of the city, the Naseerabad police had apprehended Yousaf Khan, Muhammad Ilyas and Mehmood Gul for operating illegal gas filling stations. They recovered nine gas cylinders and other filling instruments from their custody. Police have registered separate cases against the accused. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Ahsan Younis has directed to launch a crackdown against the illegal gas refillers.
