Cattle thief held by police

The police have claimed to have arrested a cattle thief in Yazman tehsil. He was accused of stealing goats and cattle owned by people in the area. Polilce said that the local people caught the thief red-handed when he was trying to steal a goat of a farmer. The thief was handed over to the police by the people. He later on confessed to have stolen at least six goats owned by the locals which he sold in the nearby cattle market. The accused was identified as Ghulam. Police have registered a case against the accused and further probe is underway.
