Where does the silent majority stand?
KARACHI:
This is with reference to Ammar Zafarullah’s article “Where does the silent majority stand?” (June 19). At first, his argument seemed like wishful thinking.
However, there is no denying the fact that the masses have slumped into the habit of remaining silent and this habit needs to be broken as their silence threatens the country’s survival. I wish the people of our country would understand the power of collective action. Remaining silent isn’t on the cards anymore. It is now time for the people of Pakistan to send a strong message to terrorists.
