Gas prices go up by 13.5%

The new increase will be applied to all domestic, commercial and industrial users.

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulation Authority (OGRA) finally announced an across the board 13.55 percent increase in the price of gas, Express 24/7 reported on Sunday.

OGRA has issued a notification regarding the price increase.

The new increase will be applied to all domestic, commercial and industrial users.

According to the notification, the new CNG price in Sindh and Punjab will be Rs63.11 per kilogramme while in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Potohar region, CNG will be sold at Rs66.42 per kilogramme.

The Federal Government has approved the increased prices.

It was reported earlier that Ogra had determined a tariff increase of 13.55 per cent for all types of gas consumers in its decision on petitions filed by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

For those who are curious why we can't make deals with Iran and China- those deals have nothing for Zardari. The government is here with an agenda, they want to stick to it.

Is it possible for Supreme Court to take notice of this trend also and take Suo Moto notice for it
