On 22nd August 2020, Unity Foods unveiled its latest product: Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta. This distinguished brand of Pakistan’s food sector has paved its way into being the very first local company to introduce fortified flour in the market. It was launched in line with the government's food fortification program, which aims to eradicate malnutrition. Unity Foods Sunridge takes immense pride in announcing their pledge in regards to being a part of this great cause.

They not only have launched pure, fortified atta, which is full of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin B12, zinc, iron and folic acid, but have also brought the latest PESA Mill technology to Pakistan. The launch ceremony, that took place at the Sunridge Flour Mill, Port Qasim, Karachi hosted many noteworthy figures such as Abdul Rasheed Jan Mohammed (CEO, Westbury Group of Companies) as well as many other guests including celebrities, media personnel, nutritionists, and bankers. The well-renowned businessman, Aqeel Karim Dedhi (Chairman AKD Group) also graced the event with his presence as a chief guest.

The event concluded after all the honourable guests were given a tour of Sunridge’s state-of-the-art factory. At the factory, they were educated about the myriad measures Unity Foods is taking to ensure provision of the best quality wheat to the people of Pakistan, as well as how, as a responsible local brand, they are doing their part in fighting malnutrition.
