Alleged gang of robber maids arrested

A gang of women who used to rob houses in the federal capital have been arrested while around 20 tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables have been recovered from their possession.

A police spokesperson said that a police team involving Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) DSP Hakim Khan and ASI Rana Tasneem along with others managed to apprehend an eight-member gang of house robbers.

Of these suspects, five were women who facilitated the robbery by infiltrating houses posing as maids.They were identified as Nadia Bibi, Abida Hyat, Salma Bibi, Shamim Bibi, Anwer Bibi, Waseem, Abdul Hameed and Yusuf.
