Six more people succumb to Covid-19 in Sindh

As many as six more people suffering from coronavirus lost their lives overnight, lifting the death toll to 2,373 in the province, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday.

Meanwhile, of the 9,426 people screened for the virus on the day, 172 tested positive, pushing Sindh’s virus tally to 128,456 so far. Shah further shared that 266 more coronavirus patients regained health overnight, which took the number of recovered people to 122,181 in Sindh - around 95 per cent of the total reported cases.

According to the CM, 3,902 people were currently affected by the virus, of whom 3,596 were in home isolation, 300 were being treated at different hospitals and six were quarantined at isolation centres. Moreover, of the total active cases, the condition of 222 people was said to be critical and 37 of them had already been shifted to ventilators.
