Man assaulted for ‘mistreating wife’

A man was reportedly subjected to torture for mistreating his wife in Factory Area on Monday. Police officials said that the victim Umar had a dispute with his wife on a domestic issue. His brothers-in-law were so deranged that they allegedly subjected him to severe torture. He sustained serious burn and other injuries on his body. Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further.
