Woman killed, daughter missing
A 47-year-old woman was stabbed to death while her 20-year-old daughter went missing in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Sunday. The victim Bisma had been living with her husband and daughter in Raza Block. At midnight, as her husband Inamul Haque came to the house, he found the victim in a pool of blood. A hammer was also lying nearby. The victim had severe injury marks on her face, skull and other parts of the body. He informed the police. A police team reached the spot on information and removed the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of witnesses. Besides this, Inam’s 20-year-old daughter is also missing from the house. His daughter Fajar has hearing impairment. Inam alleged in his complaint that unidentified people abducted his daughter after murdering his wife.
