Man, wife killed in accident

A married couple was killed and three others, including their two children, were injured in a road accident on Friday night.

The accident took place when a trailer-truck hit the motorcycle the family was riding. As a result, Kashif was killed on the spot, while his wife, Mehreen, their two children, identified as three-year-old Anees and two-year-old Maria, and an unidentified man sustained injuries.

The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) where Mehreen succumbed to her injuries.

Meanwhile, the police arrested the truck driver and took his vehicle into custody.
