Man held for ‘raping’ daughter

Mother says accused had been sexually assaulting minor for a long time

LAHORE:

A man in Manwan had been arrested for allegedly raping his minor daughter.

The arrested suspect had been identified as Zulfiqar Ali. The mother of the victim told police that she was married to the suspect 12 years ago. She said the accused had been sexually assaulting the victim for a long time.

Reportedly, the matter came into the notice of the victim’s mother after she mentioned it to her aunt. The minor girl then described the incidents to her mother. Police arrested the suspect and were investigating the matter further.
