Covid-19 claims seven more lives

The CM said that currently 4,458 patients were under treatment, of whom 4139 were in home isolation

As many as seven more people succumbed to coronavirus while 310 new cases emerged in the province, stated Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday. This pushed the provincial death toll to 2,357 while Sindh’s virus tally hit 127,691. According to Shah, 8,638 tests were conducted on the day, with a four per cent detection rate. Furthermore, he said that 119 more patients had recuperated from the contagious disease overnight, taking the number of recoveries so far to 120,876. The CM said that currently 4,458 patients were under treatment, of whom 4139 were in home isolation, seven at isolation centres and 312 admitted to different hospitals. He added that 233 patients were reportedly in critical condition, with 32 of them on ventilators.
