Seven held for hashish possession
Police claimed to have arrested seven drug peddlers including a woman and recovered 4.4 kilogrammes of hashish from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, Pirwadhai police arrested a woman and allegedly recovered 1.5kg hashish from her. Civil Lines police arrested Sajid Mehmood for carrying 1.3kg hashish.
Similarly, Waris Khan police netted Muhammad Tanveer and seized 0.29kg hashish. New Town police nabbed Muhibullah for having 0.35kg hashish while Airport police apprehended Imran Khan with 0.25kg hashish.
Saddar Baroni police in their crackdown against anti-social elements arrested Khalil and recovered 0.3kg hashish while Kalar Syedan police held Zeeshan Zafeer for carrying 0.375kg hashish.
