Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston to reunite on-screen

The two will be working together virtually for the first time since 'Friends'

If you are a child of the 90s, you are probably aware of the famed romance between Hollywood A-Listers Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. After a small reunion at the 2020 SAG Awards, the former couple are now ready to reunite on-screen, virtually, after almost two decades, reported NME.

The two are gearing to team up for a virtual table-read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, a 1982 classic, for charity. The reading will be a part of the Feelin’ A-Live benefit aimed at raising cash for CORE, an emergency relief organisation set up by actor Sean Penn. The benefit will be hosted by comedian Dane Cook.

Aniston and Pitt are not the only big Hollywood names to be taking part in the event - Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Morgan Freeman, Shia LaBeouf, Dane Cook, Jimmy Kimmel, Henry Golding, and Sean Penn are all slated to appear in the virtual table-read.

Talking to Extra, Cook shared, "I think Jennifer Aniston was lovely and the first person to say, ‘I’m in,’ and then it just started to rocket after that.”

This will be the first time Aniston and Pitt will be seen sharing the screen (albeit virtually) after a 2001 episode of the seminal show Friends, back when the two were married. They were divorced by 2005.
