Five killed, 25 injured as pickup overturns

HYDERABAD:

At least five persons were killed and 25 others injured when a Datsun pickup overturned on the M9 Motorway near Nooriabad on Tuesday. According to the police, the vehicle turned turtle due to a tie-rod break. The deceased were identified as Sohrab, 60, Walidad, 30, Mehar Ali, 70, Mirza Ali, 80, and eight-year-old Rasheed. The injured and the deceased, all belonging to the Bugti tribe from Tando Adam in Sanghar, were shifted to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
